We will review the latest legislation and policies related to safeguarding/child protection, ensuring you understand how they apply to your specific duties as a lead/designated safeguarding person.

We will explore the continuum of support for the Getting it Right for Every Child framework through to Child Protection.

Understand why Chronologies are important for safeguarding children in protecting children. Learn how to create and maintain accurate records that capture a child's history and any "significant events" that may require action. You'll also develop your professional judgment in identifying these events.

We will revisit the steps you should take if you have any concerns about a child's safety. This will empower you to respond promptly and appropriately, ensuring the child receives the necessary support.

Delve into multi-agency processes for addressing safeguarding/child protection concerns. We'll answer the question: "What happens next?" This session will boost your confidence in record-keeping and information security when working with other agencies.
