Numeracy and Literacy Outdoors
Course Description
This workshop will help you to identify opportunities for development outdoors.
We will discuss why this is important for children wellbeing by providing simple provocations to explore weight, height, width, shapes, direction, patterns, and numbers with children in a natural way.
This workshop will provide ideas to enhance your skills in the outdoor area and inspire the children to explore numbers and literacy in a fun way.
The activities presented can be adapted to the needs of the youngest learners through to school age childcare.
Please come dressed for the weather as you know children love to play in all weathers and so do we.
Overall, the workshop is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to create engaging and enriching outdoor learning experiences for children.
