Transient Art

Course Description

In this workshop we look at what ‘Transient Art’ its, process how it is used as well as the benefits of using with children of all ages to support their all-round development.

Transient Art can be used indoors as well as outdoors and we explore its potential and discuss the types of items and open – ended resources which can be used from natural elements to everyday objects, depending on the ages of those participating in the activity.

Children tend to use a ‘deeper level thinking’ with the many different resources and there is no expected ‘end product’ as the activity is about the process for the children to explore, design, position, work with others or build their own ideas. We'll explore how to use children's Transient Art creations to inspire future activities and choose resources that match their interests.

This workshop equips you to create engaging experiences that empower children to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop essential skills through the magic of Transient Art.
